Why Most People Give Up On Their Dreams

There are reasons or possibly, excuses for why people give up on their dreams. Dreams are important. I believe that we underestimate the power and options they can provide for our lives. Dreams play a part in fulfilling your heart’s desire. Why is it that people who have something in their heart of significance choose to disregard it? The thing about dreams is that if you don’t have them, you will continue to work for those who do. I want to talk about possible reasons why people give up on their dreams.

One of the reasons why people give up on their dreams is fear. Fear is known as the thief of your dreams. The more fearful you are, the less successful you’ll become. People are afraid of what might go wrong instead of focusing on what could go right. We all have some fear, but we must face the fear and do business anyway.

The second reason why people give up on their dreams is adversity. People don’t want to ridiculed by critics. Some of the biggest critics are those in your household. People are worried that someone might say that’s a scam, you’re a college grad go get a real job. The greatest entrepreneurs have all been through some kind of adversity. Things don’t always go according to plans. Everyone will not share your vision. There’s a saying that goes, a fool expects everything to go his way. I’m not calling you a fool, I’m just saying, adversity comes with life. Don’t hate it, embrace it.

The third reason why most people give up on their dreams, is unbelief. This is probably the most common reason why people do not follow through on their goals. Sadly, a lot of would be entrepreneurs allow friends and family to talk them into unbelief. If someone can talk you into unbelief, then you really didn’t believe to begin with. If you know in your heart that what you’re working on gives value and has a market, go forward. You can work everything else out in the process of moving forward.

In conclusion, these are some of the reasons why most people give up on their dreams. Fulfilling a dream is not like a job. This kind of work requires more of you but is well worth it. People will come and go, that’s fine. The most important thing you can do is take action on your dreams.
